Meat n Roses Kolonaki

It was the best gyros I've ever had, so good that I'm leaving my very first Google maps review. The service (from the red-haired waitress) was also excellent, everything I was recommended turned out delicious. My only issue was, I wished to eat more but I only had one stomach (which became very stuffed)

This is definitely worth a try. I've been to many restaurants across Greece and this has some of the best food. We got the Greek salad, the chicken soulvaki and a pichana pita. Everything I we ate was super fresh and cooked to perfection. Definitely give this a try if you're in the mood for a quick good meal. My only suggestion is to eat here more than once because we ate at plenty of places in Athens that did not have food as good as this restaurant.

Beautiful service and amazing food at a fair price. We're from California and have not tasted strawberries so sweet (Meat and Roses Salad). A little loud with traffic near but most definitely worth the trip.

Tucked away in an alley you will find a simple and delightful menu. No frills, great food and excellent service. Everyone was friendly and the food came out fresh. I recommend getting the potatoes with capers!

Nestled in an alley sits a fast casual restaurant serving the best gyros in Greece. Their gyros are so juicy, with an exact thickness that ensures the crispy outside matches well with the juicy inside. The seasoning is meat-forward, enhancing the meat rather than hiding the meat. On first bite you feel you are eating an expert's rendition of the gyro, a meat as good in a morsel as it is in a giant fluffy flatbread-wrapped mouth stuffer. I highly highly recommend going here and I highly highly recommend getting the gyros. All of them. The minced meat kebabs were pretty good, in fact quite good, just overshadowed by the gyros. The bread is very good as well. The sauces were OK; I don't recommend getting extra. The fries are standard and as a result really good for alternating bites with the gyro. Same for the tabbouleh, although I think the tabbouleh could use a little less parsley. Get the gyro. Enjoy the gyro. Learn the gyro. P.S. Many thanks to the waitstaff for taking care of my friend's kid. While the kid was melting a bit in the heat, the waitstaff played with the kid and ran around with the kid. Lovely lovely staff, thank you so much.

If you're looking for good street food look no further. This place's kitchen knows how to make good food. The salads are fresh, the meat is juicy and full of flavor and the English service given by red hair Anjela is perfect! Prices are moderate and worth every penny!

If you're looking for tasty food that won’t break the bank, this place is a fantastic choice. Everything we ordered was full of flavor and surprisingly affordable, especially for the Kolonaki area. It's tucked away in a charming little passage, which gives it a cozy and quiet atmosphere — perfect for escaping the city buzz. There's a shaded outdoor terrace with air conditioning units nearby, so even on a hot day, it’s very comfortable to sit and enjoy your meal. Inside, there's also a bar-style seating area for those who prefer it. The service was friendly and quick, and the whole experience was relaxed and enjoyable. I’d absolutely come back — highly recommended!
